Biography

I am a trainer and a psychologist that has studied in extent human behaviour, has obtained 2 Master’s degrees in Health Psychology and Occupational Psychology and has worked for the humanitarian industry for over 14 years in coaching, counselling, training and developing roles. Purpose of all my roles has been to help clients change behaviours, engage and create a life they want to be present in, improve their mental health and develop healthy coping mechanisms. I have worked with a variety of backgrounds, ages, needs and abilities to expand my horizons by learning different communication skills and approaches. In my current role I work closely with the Clinical teams but also the Industry Operators to improve attitudes towards Social Responsibility and increase awareness of the impact gambling problems may have on society and individuals. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual and so I have been trained in a range of modalities and been involved in different approaches to treatment. At the moment I have over 200 hours of clinical work with problem gamblers and affected others through my role. Outside my current roles I take interest in writing blogs, engaging in volunteer work and extending my studies.
