Arno started his journey into the gaming industry in 1991 with Casinos Austria. He learned the business from scratch and over the last 20+ years has experienced several changes in the industry, especially regarding the legal framework and the discussions about responsibility.

In 2013 he started as a Responsible Gaming Consultant for Novomatic to support the Austrian market in implementing responsible gaming in the daily business. Until the end of 2017 Arno was the head of the responsible gaming department at Admiral Casinos & Entertainment AG, a subsidiary company of Novomatic in Austria. He now works as an independent consultant and is the Course Director for Responsible Gaming Academy at TGA.

Arno holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and has been trained in several spheres, including corporate social responsibility, organisational development, and responsible gaming. He also passed the ‘Excellence in Responsible Gaming’ course from Sigmund Freud University in Vienna with distinction.
